My laptop stopped working with grub error 17. Maybe because I changed the drive partition using Windows. Is it going to be another day of re-installation? Damn it, I have a side project to work on. Luckily reinstalling grub is quite easy. Here is how: http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=224351. Lesson learned: never use Windows to do partitioning.
